Hand Dyed Yarn
Dye is Cast Yarns are hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes in a smoke-free environment.
Our colorways (except for our one-of-a-kind non-repeatable Singularity ones) can be duplicated across different yarn bases.
Please note that each hank or skein is slightly different, even in the same colorway. This is the beauty of hand dyed yarns. Also, please note that the yarn depicted in photos may vary slightly when viewed on different monitors and devices.
- If you need several hanks of the same colorway for a large project I'll make sure that they are as similar as possible. Please allow 1- 2 weeks turnaround time for yarns that are dyed to order. Choose your colorway and choice of yarn base in our Dyed to Order section here.
- When working on large projects requiring you to use several hanks or skeins of yarn, make sure to alternate yarns between rows for a more even appearance and to avoid pooling.
